The chairman of the East chamber Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al ataishan has stated that The investment in the province of Qatif in the Eastern Province is characterized by several features, and faces some obstacles, and involves promising investment prospects, that can result in a number of additional value projects.
Al ataishan has added that, based on these facts, the East chamer has taken a serious step in this field, where on Wednesday morning 24 / February / 2016 " the investment opportunities in the province of Qatif" is arranged , which is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province .. explaining that the Forum will witness, God willing a participation of a number of spokesman from government officials, specialist experts , as well as businessmen and investors.
Ataishan has said that the forum, which is held in King Abdullah National Hall in alkaddih will discuss two parts of the discussion, is the first part (the advantages and challenges of investing in Qatif), where the participants in the Forum try within this part to observe all the obstacles and challenges facing investment in the province, and to try to offer suggestions and solutions to overcome them, which ensures a diversified investment movement in the province, in various available fields, as well as seeking introducing the expected results and existing motives which gives a further boost to other investments in the province.
The second part, Ataishan has explained that it has been specified to talk about (the investment opportunities in Qatif), and that by addressing the opportunities in several sectors, notably the (Fisheries, tourism, real estate and construction , pointing that, under this part there will be a review of the role of the committees that are concerned in investment in the province, and the importance of cooperation between the private and public sectors for the development of the province and attract investment.
He stressed that that the province involving the prospects for investments in several real estate and tourism, industrial, agricultural and services sectors, in addition to that the province is an attractive and stimulating environment for the establishment of small and medium enterprises in various fields. Ataishan pointed that the chamber in the regard of the expansion of its services, has become a real and effective presence in the provinces, including the province of Qatif, and represent this in undertaking the process of establishing a special new chamber building in the province, which we hope will be another addition to the province, and to be supportive of a wider participation of local investors to the national economy, and we look forward to a series of events, programs and services that are consistent with the aspirations of business men and women in the province.
